Kindle 2 price just dropped to $189.00 (USD). I have been putting off buying one for a while now but I think at that price I will bite the bullet and get one.

I was mulling over getting the ipad instead, but I think I will wait until the next version running IOS4, with the two built in camera's, seems a waste to get one now with half the functionality.

Ordered this yesterday 24 hours ago. They are all shipped from the US (Phoenix to be precise), and according to the tracking info, it is already in the UK and will be delivered tommorow! UPS are fantastic these days! Although I shouldn't be aloud to have a credit card as I have already had $200usd worth of books put on it and I am struggling with the concept of not ordering an IPad too. Smiley

I thought about the sony and the nook, but I like the idea of whispernet. The kindle is excellent btw Smiley
